I am looking at setting up my own website and I am trying to determine who to use to host it.
Most of the web hosting companies I have found are cheap, but who are good and who are just cheap?

Being in web designing field, I have been hosting my websites with several web hosting providers for all these years.. I wont say I am an expert, however, I would definitely like to share few things that may help others who are looking for stable web hosting services — which are definitely very rare to find.. People often tend to host their websites with those giant web hosting providers who offer unlimited space and bandwidth. And finally end up cribbing for their websites either being down or suspended or poor support. There is no such thing as unlimited. Even though those company promote unlimited hosting, its just a false marketting gimmick to gain clients.. However, such companies later restrict the usage of their server and network resources based on their TOS (Terms of Service). Should you offend even a single clause as per their TOS… boom…. your website will be suspended and you will be tortured like hell to get it online..
