Most WebHosts include a free domain (it is part of the package costs)
Try HostMonster, I have used them and know it is free, I wrote a review here http://host-wiki.com/WikiPage.php?page=Wiki:HostMonster.com
Know better? Leave your own answer in the comments!
if they do that means the web host owns the domain name. If you want to own the name you should pay seperate fees.
Yes, they are separate.
Most of the web hosting services provide domain registration service as well but they will charge separately. And some service provide give a package deal.

Some hosting sites provide free domain registration, some don’t. I’ve been using BlueHost for a couple of years now and everything is running smoothly. You can try them if you want (http://www.bluehost.com/).
I suggest you have a look at http://www.hosting24.com they will register a domain name for free for life and come with unlimited webspace and unlimited data transfer and you can go with them on a monthly basis.
Also when you sign up with them if you enter in a discount code they will give you 25% off their ridiculously cheap hosting plans. code to use is 25OFF
I host all my sites there and have been more than pleased with their help and support. I hope this helps

Most of them include a free domain name.
I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/
Powweb is on a 50% sale – $ 3.88/month ($ 46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.
Godaddy doesn’t offer a free domain, but you can get one for $ 2.19 if you’re buying hosting from them, plus they also have a 20% sale at the moment. (They don’t advertise it anywhere on their site). Use their coupon code at http://www.hosttell.com/
No… the fee is differ unless the web site hosting service provider offers you free domain name. If not then you have to pay them separately.
Visit http://www.cheapwebhostingservice.biz/ . They offer you to register your own domain name, host your website and online website builder to build your own website . No skills needed, no HTML, no scripts… Online website builders provide a user friendly interface. Preconfigured website templates speed the web page building process.
The Cheap Web Hosting Service offers you to host multiple domain names, host your forum, blog, website, online store (ecommerce) and more.
I would advise you to pay and take it.
Sometimes these free players tend to lock the domain names and you kinda get stranded. Becareful while choosing the provider.
Best domain registrars i can think of are
http://networksolutions.com
http://incredos.com
htttp://godaddy.com
http://brinkster.com
Most reputable hosts do include the domain for free when you purchase hosting . The major names can be found here:

DO NOT! buy web hosting from a host that offers a free domain with their services. There are thousands of internet users being blackmailed into staying with them by holding the domain name and not letting the user transfer it to another web host. Find an honest web host, pay for the domain name and make sure YOU own the domain name. Domain names are too precious to risk for a free domain offer.
I can recommend http://www.virgohosting.com if you’re looking for a web host. These guys are honest, reliable and inexpensive.
No, you needn’t to pay for each of them.
As long as I known, all the web hosting companies on http://www.webhosting-view.com provide a free domain for at least one year if you choose their web hosting. That is to say, they give a domain(.com, .org,….) as a present with you purchase it’s webhosting. The price of the web hosting is as low as $ 3.96 a month.
However, I don’t know which kind web hosting or domain you need. If you just need domain, you’d better to compare their prices.

The best thing to do is to keep your domain names and your web hosting completely seperate. What I do is use amsallorange for hosting and namecheap.com for domain name hosting. If you need to switch, then you aren’t stuck with whoever has your domain name, because namecheap.com allows you to use any hosting service with their domain name registration.
