{article} Opinions on the best FREE web host out there?]

Question by : Opinions on the best FREE web host out there?
Ok so I’ve been looking around for a 100% free web host for something small I want to work on. I know a year or two ago it was quite easy to find one. Does anyone know of a current FREE ones? Not one thats cheap, I’m talking about free.
Guys let me remind you that this is just for something small and short term that I will be messing around with, I really do not care about quality for my current need.

I’ve had bad experiences with free hosts. Your account can exist for years but then when you finally get a tiny trickle of traffic the host may shut you down or delete you just when you need the account.

I did notice that Network Solutions claims to offer free websites. You might give it a look. I don’t know if it is a gimmick or not.

I design web sites, mostly for myself, but a few for other people and I started with AngelFire and Tripod. AngelFire is for personal only and Tripod is for business. I also worked with BraveNet when I started. It is a excellent way to play around without it costing anything. The drawback with free sites is that generally you don’t have advanced features, and usually you can only have a subdomain name, and they may place ads you your page, but the ads don’t interfere with your page and they are good, clean ads. I did not have a problem with these things, I found it a wonderful way to practice. There are tons of free hosting sites out there, these are just the ones I tried. These free hosting sites often have some good learning tools. Also, here is a web site with some info about web hosting that might help you. FindAHositngSite.com and down the page there are some free hosting services listed.

My experience with free web hosting is very pathetic. Their services suck and you can’t host your professional website. For amateur web hosting, free web hosts are good. For serious web hosting, try a cheap web host. I found a great deal for only $ 3.50/month with free domain. I am talking about iPage which is one of the top web hosts in the world. I hope this helps. http://www.webhostingbreak.com/my-reviews/

Free web hosting sucks and can become a problem as soon as you start getting a lot of visitors. They will shut you down. Go with a paid service. It is not that expensive at all. I would recommend Hostgator.

They have great service and great support and live chat available 24/7. Their setup is quick and using it pretty easy for setting up your website or blog too.

One big thing for me was that my website runs fast on Hostgator. I tried goDaddy, 1and1, and Bluehost and they have been slow sometimes when I get lots of visitors. Try Hostgator, they have a 100% money back guarantee for 45 days, if you don’t agree. I think you will.

Here are some coupon codes too for discounts:
