Does anyone know of a website with web hosting that’s around $ 4/month? All the sites I find offer this cheap price, but they want you to pay for 2-4 years up front . And there is no way I am doing that.
So what are some recommendations?

I’ve already tried that site..and all of them want 2+ years up front in order for it to be $ 3-4/month..without paying up front it’s $ 6-8/month.
So just to clarify I need a web hosting company that’s $ 3-4/month per month (only paying 1 month at a time). Free domain and setup is preferred too if it’s possible.
@Andrew- Actually after thinking about it, what you said makes perfect sense. So I guess I’ll just break down and buy like a year at a time for around $ 35-40 (which isn’t bad to be honest). Thanks for the answer.

You are asking a lot. Taking only $ 3-4 a month means a substantial proportion of the bill is simply the expense of billing you. It is a lot different if you are only billed annually – $ 40-$ 50 still isn’t a huge amount and is actually less than I pay for my web hosting every month.

The cheapest registrar I know of is internet.bs they even give free whois protection (hides your info) although godaddy.com have special offers and coupon codes for cheap registrations, worth a look. Personally I prefer namecheap.com, not always the very cheapest but really good service and support. Name.com have some good offers too sometimes.
Hosting can be had for free from 000webhost.com amongst others, or if you prefer good service then elicitservers.ca do cheap or there’s 10gi.gs as well. You get what you pay for with hosting, free service usually means lack of support.
One word of advice I will give you though is never, ever have domains and hosting at the same company, it can lead to all sorts of problems, it’s best to keep them separate and independent. Don’t fall into the trap of free domains for yearly sign ups, it’s not worth it in the long run. If they fold you’re stuffed.
