To his recurring question, Schmidt revealed that the reason why Google does not share its algorithm is that there is no solid factor in making their rankings. The company prefers not to publish the algorithm and idea of how everything works because the algorithm itself undergoes a number changes as fast as the changes and development normally come in technology. In connection with this, they would rather not deal with the scrutiny of the search engine optimization community with every modification.

It turns out that Google is quite concerned about the potential abuse that the SEO groups and online marketing community might venture into once they know the secret algorithm of the search engine. If the company released their algorithm, some communities would go ballistic and find ways to make the most out of the published information. It opens doors for all Internet beings, including those who are up to no good.

For now, the easiest thing that SEOs can do is to attempt to study the changes that Google has produced with every update. It is a good thing that Google does not often make intensive alterations with every update. Though never-ending, the changes are done step by step which allows newbies to learn as they progress. It is wise for those who are relatively new to SEO to first harness the basic concepts of SEO instead of going head on with new algorithms.

Harnessing search engine optimization as well as online marketing will always be challenging for any aspirant and SEO companies.
